Trivia players provide friendly benefits with competition

Whitney Trosclair, 99, a native and resident of Chackbay La., died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011.
Mr. Trosclair was a retired employee of Celotex Corporation.
He is survived by his brothers, Gaston, Kerman and Freddie Rodrigue; sister, Dolly Perque; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Trosclair; parents, Joseph and Mathilde Trosclair; foster parents, Alcee Sr. and Angeline Rodrigue; brothers, Alcee Jr., Claude and Wilbert Rodrigue and Harris, Joseph, Welton, Yvanne and Edmond Trosclair; and sister, Mathilda Rose.
Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Thibodaux)
