Wilbert J. Mazarac Jr., 64, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.


He is survived by his wife, Eva “Dolly” Labit Mazarac of Houma; two sons, Keith A. Mazarac and wife, Kathy, and Kevin P. Mazarac and wife, Donna, of Houma; two daughters, Karrie M. Naquin and husband, Clay, of Houma, and Kristine M. Allemand and husband, Clint, of Schriever, LA.; six sisters, Dolores Marcel, Anita Martinez, Merrill Foret, Geraldine Cunningham, Rosalie Trahan of Houma and Wilma Savoie of Avondale, LA.; and seven grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert J. Mazarac Sr. and Esther Domangue Mazarac.

He was a shop foreman with Sladco Inc. with 24 years and a former purchasing agent with Frank’s Casing for six years.

He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
