Wilbert “Snake” Anthony Trahan, 84, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011.


Mr. Trahan was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Trahan; sons, Keith (Myra), Dale and Dwayne Trahan; daughter-in-Law, Catherine Pitre Trahan; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Albert, George, Ray, Roy and Raymond Trahan; and sisters, Betty Pontiff and Judy Yawn.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Loveless and Bernice Fabre Trahan; son, Glen Trahan; sister, Pearl Connor; and brother, Alvin Trahan.

He is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
