William T. “Tommy” McKee, Sr., 78, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Sunday, June 9, 2013.
Mr. McKee loved spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren. He loved being outdoors fishing with his wife or working in the yard. He loved telling jokes to anyone that would listen. He made his living as a diesel mechanic for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Doris McKee; children, Audrey (Steve) Orr, Richard (Wendy) and Talford (Linda) McKee and Janie (Willis) McKenzie; stepchildren, Carol (Donald) Wiggins and Francis (Billie), Kathy and Elton Landry; brother, Allen McKee; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Audie McKee; daughter, Judy McKee; and sons, William Jr. and John McKee.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at Twin City Funeral Home with services to follow. Interment will be at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
