Willie Lee Franklin Jr., 46, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Dell Jackson Franklin; son, Hi-Rise Franklin; daughter, Chelsea Franklin; brothers, Andrew Riles of Sunset, La., Kerry Lee Franklin and wife, Amanda, of Raceland, La., Terry Lee Franklin and wife, Cynthia, of Gray, La., and Kevin Duvent Franklin and wife, Heather, of Morgan City, La.; sisters, Lula Leggett and husband, Richard, of Schriever, La., Regina Franklin of Houma and Mary Riles of Patterson, La.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Lee Franklin Sr.; brothers, Kenny Dwayne Franklin and Willie Lee Franklin I; and his grandparents, James Victor Sr., Alberta Callaway Jackson, Euarl Franklin Sr. and Lula Matthews Franklin.
He was a tank cleaner with Wilco Offshore Company. He was Baptist and a member of St. Luke Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at St. Luke Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the church. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
