Willie Stean Jefferson, 66, a native of Tylertown, Miss., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014.
She is survived by her husband, John Jefferson; daughter, Naquada Jefferson; sons, Darrell and John Jr. Jefferson; sisters, Charlene (Sonny) Lewis and Lula Mae Magee; brother, Ellis (Dorothy) Hogan; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Holmes and Helen Duncan-Hogen; and brother, John Holmes.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at St. Luke Baptist Church in Waterproof, La., with services to follow. Dismissal services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Lee’s Chapel in Tylertown with burial at the church cemetery. (Jones)
