Wilma C. Simoneaux, formerly Sister M. Eugenia O.S.B., 88, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011.
Ms. Simoneaux was a graduate of Loyola University with a B.S. in education, Notre Dame University of South Bend, Indiana graduate with MeD in Supervision and Administration and she pursued her PhD at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by her sisters, Catherine (Huey) Simoneaux and Mary Francis; brothers, Roy (Dorothea) and Philip (Carolyn) Simoneaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Philip Simoneaux; brother, James Simoneaux; and sisters, Ethel and Marie Simoneaux, Sister M. Lucy O.S.B. and Evelyn Stamps.
Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville, La., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville, La. Entombment will be at the church cemetery. (Ourso)
