Yvonne Adams LeBlanc, 94, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, August 12, 2007, at 8:00 a.m.


She is survived by one son, Errol J. LeBlanc; three daughters, Charlene L. Straw, Sharyn L. Donnell and Myra LeBlanc; eight grandchildren, Eddie Burgo Jr., Karen B. Adams, David Burgo, John Burgo, Richard Burgo, Patte Andras, Greg Ursin and Jennifer Bidwell; and 12 great-grandchildren, Brandon Benoit, Tiffany Adams, Cody Adams, Ashley Adams, Chelsea Richards, Connor Ursin, Danielle Burgo, Dru Burgo, Wyatt Burgo, Christian Burgo, Mathew Burgo and Katie Burgo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lazarus LeBlanc; her parents, Alphonse and Judith LaSage Adams; one daughter, Janice LeBlanc Burgo; two brothers, Harry Adams and Gilbert Adams; and three sisters, Gertrude A. Hebert, Edith A. Clement and Anita A. Gros.


Yvonne was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux.

She is buried in St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or St. Joseph Hospice of Bayou Region.

Landry Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
