Blaze Anthony Parfait

Blaze Anthony Parfait, 7 months old passed on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 9:00am until 11:00am with burial following services in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.

Blaze is survived by his mother, Crystal Lynn Parfait Verdin; brothers, Rich Verdin, Jr., Brandon Willis, Marcus Griffin Jr., and Joseph Griffin; sisters, Layna Verdin, Takarie White, Breanna Willis, Karma Willis, and Catalina Griffin; grandparents, Christopher and Kimberly Hebert Parfait, Maria Mendoza, and Delilah Pisani; Pete Davenport; Godmother, Maria Valasquez; great-grandparents, Rita Hebert. Blaze is also survived by his three aunts and three uncles.

Blaze was preceded in death by his sister, Gabriella Griffin, great-grandparents, Eloi Parfait Sr., Effie Trahan, Johnny Bolin.

Although Blaze was only seven months old had a great personality and a big heart. He was a loving son, and everyone adored him. He loved to hug and kiss and did his best to talk to everyone. Blaze’s life was short, but he made an exceptionally large impact on his loving family. He had so much love in his heart that it will live on through his family members. He will be dearly missed by all who cared for him.
