Chris Andrew Picou, 69, a native of Houma and a resident of Cocodrie, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelly Picou Bufkin and husband Andrew; grandchildren, Oliver Bufkin, Audrey Bufkin, Adeline Bufkin, Jennifer Gilbert, Olivia LeBlanc, and Gabe LeBlanc; great-grandchildren, Amelia Gilbert, Johnathan “Bubba” Gilbert, and Axel Gilbert; and sister, Kathy Benoit.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica LeBlanc; and parents, Doris and Leroy Picou.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Chris always enjoyed fishing with his friends and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
