Derrick Dwain Singleton, Sr., 44, a native and resident of Schiever, Louisiana passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Beacon Light Baptist Church 4325 West Park Avenue Gray, LA. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, LA.
Derrick is survived by his wife: Kyong Singleton, his father: Lloyd Singleton, Sr., three sons: Hakeem Walker, Rapha Singleton and Asher Singleton, one daughter: Khayenna Walker, four brothers: Brian Singleton, Reginald Singleton, Lloyd P. Singleton and Aaron Parker, two sisters: Ciera Singleton and Dominique Young.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Marilyn Diggs, two sons: Derrick Dwain Singleton, Jr. and Immanuel Singleton, one brother: Tyrone Singleton, one sister: Shameka E. Singleton, his grandparents: Norman C. Diggs and Elise M. Diggs, and Arthur Singleton, Sr. and Matilda Anderson Singleton.
