Earl Antoine Naquin, Sr., 84, a native of Golden Meadow, La. and resident of Houma, La., passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

A visitation will be held in his honor at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 10 AM until the Religious Service at 11AM. Burial will follow in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.


Earl is survived by his wife of 55 years, Meverly Bourg Naquin; sons, Stephen Naquin, Sidney Naquin, Earl Naquin, Jr. and wife, Lana Naquin; daughter, Earlene White and husband, Allen White; sister, Laura Naquin; brother, Richard Naquin; grandchildren, Stephanie Durocher, Cameron Naquin, Jacob Naquin, Courtney Naquin, Aidan White, Ava White, and Noah Naquin; and great-grandchildren, Brice Valure, Eli Valure, August Durocher, Harper Naquin, Hayes Naquin, and Kairi Naquin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Hilda Williams Naquin; sister, Dolores Naquin; and brothers, Lester Naquin, Walton Naquin, and Woodrow Naquin.

Earl served his community as a pastor and founding minister. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who dedicated his life in service to God, family, and others.
