Farrell Louis Louviere Sr., 88, passed away surrounded by his wife and loving family at 10:04pm, Monday, November 20, 2023. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11:00am with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery.
Farrell is survived by his loving family; his wife of fifty-two years, Sharon Derrington Louviere; children, Ricky Louis Louviere Sr. and wife Shelia, Farrell Louviere Jr.; daughter, Christie Louviere Norvell; sister, Carolyn Louviere Sobert; grandchildren, Ricky Louviere Jr., Chance Boudreaux, Marli Norvell Stahl, Lauren Ann Louviere, Matthew Norvell, Ruth Ellen Norvell, Johnathan Wright Norvell, Sara Ann Norvell, James Reed Norvell; and seven loving great grandchildren.
Farrell is preceded in passing by his parents, Landris and Mable Christien Louivere; and son, Mark Dean Louviere.
Farrell was a loving father and devoted husband and giver to his family. He enjoyed camping with family and friends. He was an avid and robust photographer, and wonderfully talented dancer.
Farrell will never be forgotten, always remembered, and loved for his wit, love and care he gave to his family and friends.
