Grace Frost Peltier, a resident and native of Thibodaux, LA, died Saturday, May 21, 2022. She was 97 years old.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Thibodaux, LA from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Grace is survived by two daughters, Katherine Peltier Joffrion (Ray), and Penny Peltier Tate (David); six sons, Stephen G. Peltier (Martha), John Edward Peltier, Timothy J. Peltier (Julie), Dr. Michael J. Peltier (Jim), Allen C. Peltier (Michelle), and Dr. Henry M. Peltier (Jennifer); daughter-in-law, Pam N. Peltier; one sister-in-law, Ann A. Peltier; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Donald L. Peltier; two sons, Donald L. Peltier, Jr. and William T. “Bill” Peltier; her parents, Clarence J. Frost and Ouida F. Frost; three sisters, Ouida Mai Diedrich, Jane F. Naquin, and Verna F. Dupont; in-laws, Harvey and May Peltier, Harvey Jr. and Mickey Peltier, Warren Jr. and Bernice P. Harang, Dr. James R. Peltier, Richard B. Peltier, George Diedrich, Jr., Herman Naquin, and Henry “Dookie” Dupont.
The family would like to thank Mrs. Grace’s caregivers and Lafourche Home for the Aged for their care and compassion.
