Irene Marie Henry

Irene Marie Henry, 70, a native of Pointe Aux Chenes, LA and resident of Dulac, LA; passed away surrounded by her loving family at 2:53am on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 10:00am until service time.  A Liturgy of the Word will follow visitation on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Chauvin Funeral Home at 11:30am with burial taking place in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, LA.

Irene is survived by her loving family; her husband of forty-five years, Robert Henry Sr., children, Ileen Dupont and husband Mark, Bridgette Brown and husband Patrick Brown Jr., Robert Henry Jr. and wife Nate’ Henry, Lance Vito and husband Randy Vito, Sheena Henry, Maggie Henry and spouse Kirk Billiot, and Jan Henry; siblings, Wendell Neal and wife Sandra, Julia Ledet and husband Raymond, Lawrence Neal Jr. and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Daniel Norman and wife Chasity, Mark and Anthony Dupont, Brandi Pierron, Hayes, Haven and Hayden Brown, Alexia, Amber, Ashton, and Arynn Henry, Lincoln Rivere, Braxton Henry, Kaylix Billiot, and Dimitri Norris Jr.; and five loving great grandchildren, Eva, Brynleigh, and Brielle Brown, Brylon Mauldin, Brantlee Vicknair, and sisters-in-law, Caroline Neal, and Rachel Neal.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Neal Sr. and Marjorie Boquet Neal; son, Shadrick “Boo” Pierron Jr.; siblings, Cecil Neal, Carlton “Red” Neal, Arthur Neal, Allen Neal, and Elsie Valure; grandchildren, Matthew Norman, James “Dewey” Pierron, Kristi Pierron and Dax Norris.

Irene enjoyed playing bingo, potting flowers in her garden, sewing, cooking and drinking coffee.  She dearly enjoyed the time she spend with her family and friends.
Irene will be dearly missed; but always and forever loved.
