Janet L. Pellegrin, 90, a native of Chauvin and resident of Bourg, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
She is survived by: two sons, Perry Pellegrin of Bourg, and Jerome and wife Evelyn Pellegrin of Chauvin; her sister Mary Ann Griffin; six grandchildren, Clint and wife Jeni Pellegrin, Manderly and husband Rodney Boudreaux, Laci and husband Ricky Melancon, Jeremiah and wife Crystal Pellegrin, Colt and wife Kori Pellegrin, and Chelsi Brierley; eleven great-grandchildren, Michael, Macy, Megan, Harli, Addison, Quentin, Owen, Landyn, Kynnadi, Maddyn, and Kash; and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raynold “T-Noon” Pellegrin; her son, Kelly Pellegrin; her parents, Ephie and Ozelia Landry; two sisters, Therese Eschete and Thelma Rousse; one grandson, Truitt Pellegrin; and one great-grandson, Matthew Pellegrin.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In her younger years, Janet loved to dance, speak Cajun French, and fish. Her lifetime passions were cooking, spending time with family and friends, and laughing.
A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church’s cemetery in Chauvin on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10:00am.
