Jeffrey T. Ashley

Jeffrey T. Ashley, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 65.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Samart Funeral Home on West Park from 3:00 pm till 6:00 pm.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carolyn Ashley; children, Chad Ashley, Jessica Burrows (Shane), Lorilon Strevig (Rodney), and Misty Osborn (Leroy); grandchildren, Cody Ashley, Connor Ashley, Alaina Chambers (Dru), Gage Burrows, Jake Strevig (Kelsey), Brooke Neal (Jonathan), Taylia Hinol, and Cyler Hinol; great-grandchildren, Oliver Strevig and Quinn Strevig; and siblings, Janice Jaubert (Lou), Andy Ashley (Chris), and Sammy Ashley (Penny).



He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Irene Ashley; and brother, Billy Ashley.

Jeff was a loving husband, father, son, brother, friend, and lovingly known as “Papa San” to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his love of music, dancing, fun-loving spirit, and was a “Jack of all trades”. Family and friends will surely miss his loving soul and his beautiful smile.

The family would like to sincerely thank everyone for their prayers and loving support.
