Joann Marie Landry, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She was a long-time resident of Houma, LA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park from 3:30 pm until funeral time at 6:00 pm. A Rosary will begin at 5:30 pm.
Joann is survived by her husband, Larry, Sr., her children Larry Jr, (Tenna) and Joanna (Phillip) and brother Jerry Rousse. Grandchildren Kristian, Ashley and Austin Smith, Destiny and Tate (Alaiga) Landry. Great grandchildren Bryson, Myles, Braylee, Maysen, Alyson, Kenslie, Bentley, Bennett and Kaisley.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Theodore Rousse; grandson Seth Landry.
Joann was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She loved them dearly and always enjoyed visiting with them. She enjoyed making crochet blankets, play bingo, pokeno and going out to eat with family.
Joann will always and forever be loved and dearly missed by her family and friends.
