JoAnn Pridgen “JoJo” Allemand, 89, a native of Zwolle and a resident of Houma, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Cross Church of Houma from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Mike Allemand (Gwen) and Tim Allemand (Cindy); grandchildren, Ashley Wininger (Troy) and Jamie Allemand; and great-grandchildren, Peyton Wininger, Brennan Wininger, and Lilli Forbes.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert “Bobby” Allemand; and parents, Herman Pridgen and Laverne Lalonde.
JoJo lived her life following her purpose of being God’s hands and feet on Earth. She led others to Christ through her leadership in Aglow, Women’s Ministry, and many bible studies over the years. She was a proud member of Cross Church and JoJo loved her church family dearly and had a special place in her heart for everyone. JoJo will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well-wishes during this time.
