She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Gary “Spike” Blanchard; and her parents, Herbert and Amelie LeBouef.

Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent her days at home caring for the family and always making sure they had everything they needed. If she wasn’t with her family, she enjoyed being outside in the garden and doing yard work. She played travel softball for several years and was a very active person within her community that never met someone she didn’t know. She was a light in everyone’s life and always made sure she had the last word in every conversation. She is now reunited with the love of her life and is smiling down on all her family. Bonnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver Mrs. Tanya Fitch Duplantis.

Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Juanita “Bonnie” Blanchard.
