Kathy Ann Sevin Billiot, 65 a native of Cut Off, La. and resident of Galliano, La. passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 with her loving family near her side.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow from 12:00 noon until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm with burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Irvin J. Billiot, daughters; Katie Billiot Bruce Alario (Zack), Katrina Billiot and Ariel Thibodeaux, grandchildren; Logan Bruce Vizier (Luke), Laney Alario, Lizzy Alario and Beaux Thibodeaux, brothers; Tilman “T.J” Sevin, Jr. (Ellen), Marty Sevin (Vivian) and Nicky Sevin (Dixie), nephews Nicholas Sevin, Christian Sevin, Micah Toups, niece; Lauren Brunet, step-father; Don Cheramie.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; Tilman Sevin, Sr. and Bernice Terrebonne Cheramie, grandparents; Edwick and Macy Terrebonne and Nicholas and Agatha Sevin.
Kathy was a member of the K of C Ladies auxiliary, she worked at numerous community fairs and festivals doing what she enjoyed doing cooking. She was employed at Superior Shipyard she enjoyed working with Brent Duet and her co-workers Pat and Daffy .She was also employed at Walmart in the fabric department, sewing was her passion. Her love for her family and her faith in our Lord God were unyielding. To know Kathy was to love her.
