Kerry Gerard Matherne, 53, died Monday, November 29, 2021, at 7:37 AM. Born July 19, 1968, he was a native of Vacherie and a resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 from 8:30 am until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 am at the funeral home with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gwen Hue Matherne; parents, Arthur “Mutt” and Brenda Becnel Matherne; sisters, Jenny Schexnayder (Scott), Sandy Folse, brother and godchild, Charlie Matherne, father in law, Curtis Hue; godchild, Brennan Borne; sisters in law, Tammy Adams, Gay Michel (Chris), Tracy Himel (Dwayne); brother in law, Clark Hue (Lori).
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy and Mariette Becnel and Arthur and Ethel Matherne; mother in law, Gail Hue.
Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
