Larry Joseph Panvelle, 75, died Thursday, September 15, 2022. Born December 13, 1946 he was a native of Chackbay, Louisiana and resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.


A visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with burial following at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Swartz Panvelle; sons, Jason Panvelle (Ginger), Aaron Panvelle (Cindy); step daughters, Tabitha Langston, Angela LeBlanc; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, mother, Mable Roger Panvelle; brothers, Harry Panvelle, Jr., Timmy Panvelle; sisters, Henrietta (Warren) Gros, Evelyn Thibodaux, Barbara Cherry.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Panvelle, Sr.; brother, Rudy Panvelle; step son, Jason McKinley.


He was a member of the American Banking Association and the American Legion. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
