Larry LaGarde, 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, LA, passed away peacefully at 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Residence Baptist Church, 2605 Isaac Street in Houma, LA. Burial will follow in the Union Benevolent Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Henderson LaGarde; sons, Terrence (Tammy), Travis (LaTasha) and TerRon LaGarde; daughters, Karen Henderson-McGuire (Ronald), Charnette (Melvin) and LaToya LaGarde (Chadd); sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley Jeffries and Vera LaGarde Brown (Ben); brother, Robert Matthews LaGarde (Dorothy); and maternal grandparents, Frank and Rosa Dennis LaGarde.
