Lawrence “Beb” Billiot Jr., 78, a native and resident of Dulac, Louisiana passed away on July 10, 2021.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue (635 Bayou Blue Road, Houma, Louisiana 70364) from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Antoinette “Jeri” Billiot; daughters, Laurie Billiot (Manuel), Loren Billiot Lopez (Gerardo), Juanita Billiot, and Laura Louviere; sons, Lawrence Milton Billiot (Tammylynn), Denny Billiot (Jennifer), and Lance Marceaux; grandchildren, Hannah Lopez Billiot, Sophia Matherne, Sydney Billiot, Brooklyn Billiot, Matthew Louviere, Sophia Parker, and James Kissee; sister, Eula Lovell; brothers, Julius Billiot (Virginia), Calvin Billiot, Joseph Billiot (Veronica); many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence “Moot” Billiot Sr.; mother, Helen Defelice; daughter, Norma Jean Billiot; sisters, Florence Parfait, Lucille Babin, Hellen Chaisson, Beulah Billiot, and Pearl Billiot.
He was a member of the Clanton Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a proud member of the United Houmas Nation. He loved sitting on his porch and listening to his swamp pop music. He loved his wrestling. He was a loving father, grandfather “BoBo”, brother, and friend to all who knew him.
He always had a smile until the end.
