Lorraine Trahan, age 90, Native of New Orleans long time resident of Houma, La. sadly passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend a visitation in Lorraine’s honor on November 7, 2023, at St. Anthony Catholic Church starting at 9 am until service time at 11am. A burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Timothy Trahan (Angela), Eric Trahan, John Trahan (Patsy), and Loriann Hue; grandchildren, Ryan Trahan, Teri Aucoin, Kyle Trahan, Amy Dupre, Brooke Roberts, Joshua Hue; great-grandchilrdren, Oakleigh, Adalyn, Kade, Beau, and Emma; sisters, Ida Jowers, Patsy Lasseigne, and Leola St.Pierre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her loving husband Francis Trahan; parents, Leopold and Amedia Laiche; daughter, Marie Trahan; grandson, Aaron Trahan; sisters, Marjorie Gioir and Jane Mizell; and brother, Owen Laiche
Lorraine was a member of the ladies Alter Society for St. Anthony; she also sang in St. Anthony’s choir. On her free time, she enjoyed reading a good book and had a liking for sewing. Above all, she enjoyed spending her time with her family and loved ones. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Nurse Jill for all that she has done for Mrs. Lorraine.
