Marian DuBois, 84, passed away on April 21, 2023, in Houma LA.
Marian was born on March 26, 1939, to Henry Bergeron Sr. and Lilly Bergeron. She was a Native and longtime resident of Houma, La.
Family and Friends are invited to attend the service for Marian DuBois on Friday, April 28, 2023, at St. Gregory church starting at 10:00 am until service time at 11:30 am. A Christian burial is to follow at St. Francis Cemetery #2.
Marian is survived by her two daughters; Terri Dean (Randy) of Perryville, KY, and Brenda Giroir and companion John Clement, grandchildren; Kristi Andras (Jeremy), Corey Giroir (Sarah), Lindsey Casse (Phil), Mindi Olivier (Lynn), Philip Dean (Brittany), Ashley Lamkin (William), 17 great-grandchildren, and one sister; Cathy Davis (Tommy).
Marian is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years Remuis (R.J) DuBois, Parents; Henry Sr. and Lilly Bergeron, brother; Henry J. Bergeron Jr.(Linda), and sister; Jeanette Price (Carroll).
Marian truly enjoyed spending time outside admiring her flowers, painting, crocheting, fishing, eating crabs, cooking, and watching her favorite cooking and game shows. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made in Marian’s name to Vandebilt Catholic High School and St. Francis de Sales Catholic School. Chauvin Funeral Home is Honored to serve the family of Marian DuBois.
