Melanie Ann Martin, 61, a native of Bourg and resident of Montegut, passed away on April 17, 2024.
A private memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, David Martin Sr; children, Christy Sollers (Chris), David Martin Jr. (Melissa), and Mandy Andres (Hilario); grandchildren, Destiny, Halie, Gage, Harley, Raylee, Jackie, Jayden, Bella, and Lil Man; great grandchildren, Aiden, Arthur, Lilith, Rosemary, Oakley, and Dexter; siblings, Darlene Billiot, Darrell DeHart, and Marvin DeHart Jr.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Taytyn; parents, Carolyn and Marvin DeHart.
Melanie enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, and window shopping at the thrift stores. Above all else, she loved her family. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
