Nora L. Sapia, a native of Chacahoula and a resident of Houma, gained her angel wings on Saturday, January 29, 2022, ten days before her 104th birthday.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland at 10:00 am.
She is survived by her children, Mary Jane Loupe, Rose Callais (Forrest), and Betty Melancon (Wylie); 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her canine companion, Trixie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alcide Joseph Sapia; grandchild, Dean Callais; parents, Alex LeBoeuf and Clothilde Bourgeois LeBoeuf; and 8 siblings.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park is in charge of arrangements.
