Peggy Marie Dupre Dupre, 71, a native of Montegut and resident of Pointe Aux Chene, died at 5:15pm Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00am until service time. Ministry Services will begin following visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home at 11:00am with burial taking place in St. Charles Cemetery in Pointe Aux Chene, LA.
Peggy is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Curtis J. Dupre; daughter, Ginger Dupre and son Jeremy Dupre and wife Kelly; brothers, Lonnie Dupre and wife Chris, Rodney Dupre and wife Patty; sisters, Nancy Guzzo and husband Rosaria; and Paula Hutcherson.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Danis and Mernelle Blanchard Dupre; father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Anna Mae Dupre; brother-in-law, Daniel Hutcherson and Karold Dupre and sister-in-law, RoseAnna Gautreaux and husband Terry Price. Two nephews, Lonnie Dupre, Jr., and Chad Dupre.
Peggy was a member of Family Worship Center. She loved reading her Bible, listening to praise and worship music, spending time with her husband and children and her entire family, being out in the yard with her flowers and lawn mower.
She was a loving wife, mother and sister who will be greatly missed by all.
