Ronald “Darryl Maize” Scott, 66, a native and resident of Houma, LA passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 8:00 AM until funeral service at 10:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel 230 S. Hollywood Road Houma, LA. The burial will follow in the Crescent Farm Cemetery in Houma, LA.
Ronald is survived by his girlfriend, Julie Courteaux; a daughter, LaShawn Mckinely; four brothers, Zack Scott, Steven (Wanda) Nixon, and Corey Nixon; two sisters, Delores (George) Thomas and Debra (Joe) Nixon Boyd; and five grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Caldwell Maize, mother, Mary Adams Scott; brothers, Leroy Scott, Caldwell Maize, Irving Maize, and Donald Scott; and his sisters, Mary Lee Scott and Brenda Lee Scott.
