Rosalie Pitre Crochet, 90, a native and resident of Montegut, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023.
She is survived by her children, Nadine (Dino) Crochet, and Blake (Red) Crochet; grandsons, Chad Pinell and wife Becky, and Cody Pinell and wife Layla; great-grandchildren, Katie, Colby, Addie, Faith, and Charlee Pinell; great-great-granddaughter, Annalise Rose Pinell; brother, Lionell (Putsy) Pitre and wife Ponnie; sister, Lucy Pitre Mahan; and sister-in-law, Helen Pitre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis (CJ) Crochet; mother, Bertha Breaux Pitre; father, Forest Pitre; daughter, Mitzi Crochet Pinell and husband Ricky Pinell; and brothers, Horace (Parker) Pitre and wife Mary Pitre, Noris (Nook) Pitre, and James (Jimmy) Pitre; and brother-in-law, Fulton Mahan.
Words cannot express the sincere gratitude and appreciation for Rosalie’s extraordinary dedication to serving 27 years as a coach and mentor at the Montegut Recreation Center. Rosalie likewise belonged to the Montegut Homemakers for 20+ years.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Montegut, Louisiana from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
