Rose Chauvin Dupre , 93, a native and resident of Chauvin, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
She is survived by her children, Sheryl Soudelier (Russell), Susan Triche (Kenneth), Tommy Dupre (Linda), Ricky Dupre (Cindy), Michael Dupre (Becky), Wil Dupre (Tamara); 27 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lee Chauvin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustin “Joe” Dupre; daughter, Evalina Fanguy; parents, Wilson and Florence Authement Chauvin; brothers, Malvin, Milford, Elmore, and Rene’; sisters, Simone and Louella.
She loved being around her family and enjoyed crocheting and word search.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma – West Park, 4511 West Park Ave., Gray, LA from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow in Cross Church Cemetery, Houma, LA.
