Rose Miller Toups, 79, a native of Eunice and resident of Mathews, passed away on May 31, 2023.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 8am to 12pm, with the funeral service to begin at 12pm, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, BAyou Blue. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Lavergne, Sr. (Jennifer); sister, Liz “Annie” Gaspard (Greg) and Mary Foreman; brother, Henry Miller; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children, Rhonda Lavergne Ayme, Roland Lavergne, and Teasha Toups; husband, Tommy Toups; parents, Joseph Dave Miller and Augustine Verrett Miller; brothers, Ashton Miller and Wilbur Miller; and sisters, Becky LeJeune and Aimee Vidrine.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
