Shaun Joseph Danos, 39, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Samart Funeral Home on West Park from 12:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 5:00 pm.

He is survived by his mother, Fay Danos; father, Hilton Chaisson, Sr. (Judy); siblings, Hilton Chaisson, Jr. (Anna Mae), Nolan Chaisson (Marlene), Smitty Chaisson (Joan), Jacqueline Dardar (Edison), Andy Chaisson (Lilly), Lilton Danos, Crystal Danos, Welton Chaisson, Elton Danos (Heather), Myron Chaisson, Tracy Danos, Hartman Chaisson, and Stephanie Chaisson (Jacob Boquet); and numerous extended family members and dear friends.


He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sanda Chaisson, Jenetta Chaisson, and Jackie Chaisson; maternal grandparents, Edith Danos and Roy Danos; paternal grandparents, Annie Chaisson and Andrew Chaisson; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Shaun was a man that was devoted to his faith and made it his mission to spread the word of Jesus Christ. He would be the man that would go out of his way to help others in need, and always put other people’s needs before his own. Shaun will be remembered for his big heart and big personality that would make the room shine, and had everyone in stitches with his jokes. Shaun will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
