Thomas Patrick Harrison, Sr., 82, died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 5:27 PM. Born September 14, 1941 he was a native of Eupora, Mississippi and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Services will be held at Christian Assembly in Schriever, LA. Times and date are currently pending.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Chiasson Harrison; son, Thomas Patrick Harrison, Jr. (Jennifer); daughter, Chrissy Adams (Matthew); grandchildren, Hannah Harrison, Brianna Harrison, Seth Adams, Owen Adams, Noah Adams, Sean Adams; three great grandchildren, Everleigh Ray, Brynnleigh Ray, Emileigh Ray; sister, Mary Jeanette Mixon (Kenny, Sr.).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Mildred Canon Harrison; siblings, Jerry Harrison and Larry Harrison.
“Ole Tom” was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending much time on his tractor. He loved listening to his country music and gospel music. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and adored spending time with his grandchildren whom he dearly loved often giving them unique nicknames and always making them feel so special.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans – the cranio-facial department.
Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
