Letter: Relay for Life staffer offers thanks

Dear Editor,

I wanted to take a minute of your time to thank you for welcoming me in my new home in Lafourche Parish, and for helping me to work as a Relay for Life specialist for the last four months. Whether I have had the privilege of meeting you in person, or am working towards meeting you, just knowing that you are allowing me to work in our community means a lot to me.

The people of Lafourche parish have taken me in like I was family – and I have to say that the volunteers and businesses that have supported me, and our work with Relay For Life just put the icing on the cake.

Thank you, Lafourche Parish residents, for all you have done for me. If I can ever be of service to any of you, please don’t hesitate to call on me.

I am looking forward to living here, and working with you for years to come, and am proud to make Lafourche my home. I am especially proud to know and say I am associated with you. God bless you.
