Night Out Against Crime a success

Dear Editor,

Neighborhoods across the city of Thibodaux and nation organized for the 31st annual National Night Out Against Crime Aug. 5.

The Thibodaux Police Department was one of several sites, and the community came out in numbers to show support. Food, activities and emergency equipment on display made for a great time with family and friends. A south Louisianan favorite, jambalaya, helped these swamp people passer un bon moment.

Thibodaux Chief of Police Scott Silverii and all of us here at the Thibodaux Police Department would like to thank all of our partners who donated their resources and time to make this National Night Out Against Crime such a success. We look forward to the continued partnership that makes this community a great place to live.
