Local high schools adjust football schedules as Hurricane Delta approaches

Due to the threat of Hurricane Delta, local high schools have adjusted their football schedules.

Here is the adjusted schedule so far:

H.L. Bourgeois will play East St. John on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Thomas B. Smith Stadium (Terrebonne).

Vandebilt Catholic will play Dutchtown at home on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Covenant Christian Academy will play at Loranger at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Houma Christian School will play at home versus West St. Mary on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

South Terrebonne’s game versus Patterson will now be played in Patterson on Wednesday at 7 p.m. All football season passes sold this year will be honored at Patterson for the game, the school said.

Ellender will play at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday for its matchup with McMain. The Patriots will be playing at South Terrebonne Memorial Stadium in Bourg.

Terrebonne will play at Hahnville on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

The Central Lafourche and Thibodaux matchup will be played on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Thibodaux.

South Lafourche’s home game versus Lutcher is set to go at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
