Top coaching spots yields 42 applicants

Only a little more than a month has passed since Nicholls decided to part ways with their former coach Jay Thomas.

But that hasn’t stopped applicants from swooping in to try to take the reigns in Thibodaux and 42 applicants have applied to become the next head coach for the Colonels.

The university hopes to have a list of finalists to pick from before the New Year.
