Saturday: Nicholls State University men’s basketball will have a “red out” game in their game against Southeastern Louisiana in Stopher Gym. The school is selling official “red out” t-shirts in the school’s library. The cost for a shirt if $10. All sizes are still available for anyone hoping to “red out” the Lions this weekend.

March 12: The MAX Charter School’s 3rd Annual “Race for Their Future” 5K Run/Walk will be held at Nicholls State’s John L. Guidry Stadium. The run will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the early registration deadline is Feb. 21. Early registrants will be charged $20, while everyone else will be asked to pay $25. Proceeds will go to help fund important projects at the school that aren’t funded by the state.
