June 17, 2010There’s yet another feather in the cap of the Vandebilt athletic department.
Lady Terriers’ softball pitcher Saidee LeMaire has been named the Class 4A softball Most Outstanding Player for 2010, after posting a 24-7 record in the circle her senior season. Her performance helped push Vandebilt to another state championship – the second of her prep career.
The standout pitcher joins women’s basketball player Theresa Plaisance in Vandebilt athletes to win the Most Outstanding Player award in their respective sports this season. Both players also won the MOP in the state championship game of their respective sports, as well.
LeMaire was the biggest winner, but several other Tri-parish athletes were also rewarded for their baseball and softball successes during the 2010 season.
Listed below are the Tri-parish student athletes who were named to the Louisiana Sportswriters Association Prep All-State teams.
