1: The number of unbeatens left in the Tri-parish area – Terrebonne. Coming into this week, the Tigers were joined by Central Catholic, but they fell for the first time this season in a 22-20 contest to Delcambre.

504: The total number of yards gained by Terrebonne on Friday in the Tigers’ 49-14 thrashing of Central Lafourche. Terrebonne had more than 200 yards in both rushing and passing in the win.

8: The number of times South Terrebonne put the football into the endzone in a 53-27 non-district win against Brusly.

SportsNet Week 7 Players of the Week:

Bronze: South Lafourche halfback Brook Eymard – Getting one of his first starts of the season, Eymard capitalized, pounding H.L. Bourgeois’ defense to the tune of 17 carries, 135 yards and two touchdowns.

Silver: Terrebonne quarterback Mike Williams and receiver Justin Williams – The brother duo made life miserable for Central Lafourche Friday, connecting six times for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Mike Williams finished the game 9-of-10 passing with three total touchdowns.

Gold: South Terrebonne halfback Jaquis Flores – Just a week removed from their first loss of the season, Flores led the Gators’ offense to a 53-point outing, catching four passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns.

The Super 6 power rankings (ranking Casey Gisclair’s six best Tri-parish teams):

1. Terrebonne – Mike Williams to Justin Williams. It’s a duo that cannot be stopped. And it’s a duo that will quite possibly lead Terrebonne to a district title.

2. Patterson – The Lumberjacks got revenge from last season’s loss to E.D. White, scoring a big-time 25-14 win, which puts them in the driver’s seat for the district title.

3. Vandebilt – The Terriers struggled their way through the first half before pulling away in the second half against Ellender. There is no one in our area with more heart than Vandebilt, and they just keep on going forward in the face of tragedy.

4. South Terrebonne – The Gators moved up a few spots after showing their offense is back on track. Central Catholic and E.D. White losses help them leapfrog, too.

5. E.D. White – There’s truly no shame in losing to Patterson. They are one of, if not the best in our area. Don’t expect much of a hangover for the Cardinals.

6. Central Catholic – Champions respond in the face of adversity. Let’s see how Central Catholic comes back after losing their first game of the season.
