Best thing about scoring a goal:

The thrill of being able to do something to help our team win!

Best goal you ever scored:

It was my freshman year of college, but it was during our spring season. We were playing Houston. The ball was played to me, and I touched it around the girl and ran onto the ball. From about 25 yards out, I shot it as hard as I could, and it was a low-driven ball and the goalie couldn’t block it – it went into the back of the net for a goal.

It’s midnight: What is Kimberly Grasson craving as a snack?

Definitely ice cream.

Best advice ever receiver from a coach:

My club coach from New Orleans told me, ‘Never give up on your dreams and continue to be the dynamic, driven player that I have always known and respected.’

Future plans:

I plan to play soccer as long as I can. I also want to continue with school and work toward becoming a Speech Language Pathologist.

Credentials:

UL-Lafayette soccer standout Kimberly Grasso loves to score goals. Lucky for her, she scores ‘em in bunches. The Houma native just got done with a dynamic sophomore season for the Ragin’ Cajuns, earning her place on the All-Sun Belt team for the 2014 season. Away from the soccer pitch, Grasso said she loves to spend her free time with friends and family, touting that she is a big fan of musician Ed Sheeran. Grasso is a solid student who is aiming to be a Speech Language Pathologist upon graduation.
