Nineteen years ago this week, the South Louisiana Business News hit stands. Owned by the Guidry Group, the publication would grow into the Tri-Parish Times & Business News.
Rushing Media purchased the newspaper in August 2014, continuing its tradition of providing local news to Terrebonne and Lafourche residents.
The weekly newspaper has emerged as a leader in reporting, garnering seven consecutive Newspaper of the Year titles from the Louisiana Press Association.
