Police: Suspect abuses girlfriend, exposes himself to female guard

Albert “Curly” L. Hebert, 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:26 a.m. on Tuesday, Janaury 31, 2017.

Mr. Hebert was the retired proprietor of A-Bear’s Restaurant, developing the signature Catfish A-Bear dish. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane Breaux Hebert; daughter, Ginger (David) Tindle; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.


Burial is at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma.
