Albert J. Loupe Jr., 90, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.


Mr. Loupe was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitier’s Church. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8840, Rev. Kermit Trahan Assembly 1878, 4th degree K.C., American Legion No. 349, Forty and Eight Voiture 1038 or Louisiana, the Freddie John Falgout VFW 3665, AARP Chapter 4585 and Woodman of the World Lodge 664. He was also a member of the Lockport Fire Department and was King of Lockport Carnival in 1992.

He is survived by his daughter, Judy (Keith) Bauer; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
