Former captain pleads guilty to charges

Alice Rogers Fields, 92, a native of Week’s Island, La., and resident of Houma, La., died on Monday, August 22, 2016.
Mrs. Fields was a schoolteacher at Houma Junior High for 25 years.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Betty D. Fields, and many godchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
