May 21, 2015Alice Vega Melancon, 79, a native and resident of Cut Off, died May 17, 2015.
Mrs. Melancon is survived by her children Darrel (Stephanie) Melancon, Jill Melancon, and Lisa Melancon; and brother Woodrow (Janice) Vega.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bobby” Melancon, and parents Hector and Leah Curole Vega.
Visitation will take place on Thursday May 21, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until service time. Funeral mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
