Allen P. Pellegrin, 90, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Monroe, La., died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.


Mr. Pellegrin was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Annunziata Church and was awarded the Bishop’s Medal for his service in the Houma-Thibodaux diocese. He was a World War II veteran, serving in combat at the age of 16 and becoming a radio operator in the European Theatre. He was an avid fisherman and loved sports.

He is survived by his sons, Glenn (Myra) and Randy (Pam) Pellegrin; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial is at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Houma.
